Hi there,

We wanted to introduce ourselves as the catering managers at Breedon Cement Works Canteen Kitchen. I am Sarah and run the canteen alongside my two sons, Fin and Louie. I previously owned The Bakehouse Deli in Bradwell and have been at the Breedon site for the past 5 years.

Our old-style canteen kitchen in the heart of the Hope Valley is open Tuesday to Friday, serving both breakfasts 8.30-10.30 and lunch between 12-1.30, at highly subsidies rates.

We have a large in-door communal seating area perfect for muddy boots which we want to encourage you to come and try out! In the warmer months we have a large outdoor picnic area overlooking our golf course.

It's somewhat of a quirky setting right in the middle of a cement works, but we think that's what sets us apart from other places you may have visited, a perfect stop off if you are out and about walking or cycling in the Valley or joining us to enjoy a round of golf, angling, bowling or using our gym. We also welcome group bookings and have a more intimate private bar lounge that can be used free of charge when dining with us.

All our food is homemade from scratch using only the very best ingredients.

Our menu includes everything’s from a full English breakfast, roast dinners, wraps, Paninis and salad boxes, homemade pastries, and quiche not forgetting a large range of irresistible homemade cakes and traybakes! You will always be guaranteed a friendly warm welcome by our lovely team!
